Entries are now open for the Halloran Contemporary Art Prize 2025, an acquisitive prize that engages with and responds to the Museum’s Halloran Collection: Science & the Sea. This year, the theme of ‘time’ as it relates to the collection must be explored. The Museum is pleased to announce support from the Halloran Trust, with a $20,000 acquisitive first prize, $8,000 second prize and $2,000 People’s Choice prize. Finalists will be exhibited at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum & Gallery, Huskisson NSW 2450, from Feb 14 to May 18, 2025. Open to all permanent NSW and ACT residents aged 18 years and over.
