Named and inspired by a hole-in-the-wall ‘tabaqueria’ originating in South America and initially a shop where alcohol, cigarettes and stamps were sold – over time, it became a place to gather, socialise, eat and love in small towns across the continent – El Estanco.
El Estanco is excited to now welcome applications from creatives looking for a studio, exhibition, or shopfront space (or all of the above!). Previously a space utilised by our in-house coffee roaster, we are now open to someone looking for a city break, or even a local in need of some more room!
A bit about the space – filled with light and it’s own small stoned terrace and garden space, the space offers approximately 29.5m², complete with sink and bench space. Applicants will benefit from existing restaraunt traffic (closed only on Tuesday and Wednesday’s), as well as onsite events such as Fringe Festival and Tasting Australia!
El Estanco would like to welcome all applicants with varying terms – we are happy to discuss the opportunity (including workshops and sales) and how it could best assist you as a creative in the beautiful Barossa Vallery!
