Live music micro-festival, Valley Sounds 2025 is now open for expressions of interest for both musicians and potential venue spaces within the Moonee Valley municipal area. Council welcomes submissions from both emerging and established artists working locally, and encourages businesses of all kinds to apply – including traditional music venues like bars, pubs and hotels, and non-traditional spaces like retail stores, cafes and book shops, just to name a few.

The festival connects musicians with venue partners, creating a vibrant experience for live music-lovers and boosting Moonee Valley’s night-time economy. Valley Sounds takes place over 10 days in May 2025, bringing live music opportunities to artists, residents and businesses across Moonee Valley.

Selected musicians will be paid a fee for their performance.

Expressions of interest open now until 19 January. For more information email liveandlocal@mvcc.vic.gov.au or submit your expression of interest via Valley Sounds Artist EOI
