The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is inviting suitably experienced Artists or Artist Teams to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to design, fabricate and install a public artwork to be located on the Osmond Terrace roadway median at the juncture of William Street, Norwood.
The new public artwork will provide a contemporary and visually appealing addition to the tree-lined, beautifully maintained green space of Osmond Terrace, and will join existing major public artworks along the terrace.
To add to the diverse public artworks already on offer on Osmond Terrace and in our greater community, the Council is seeking to provide this public space with a dynamic and inspiring visual element that is reflective of best practice in contemporary public art.
Artists/Artists Teams are invited to submit an Expression of Interest including the following:
- Artist/Artist Team Curriculum Vitae;
- artist statement;
- a brief statement to describe potential themes and your proposed approach to the project;
- maximum of 8 images of relevant work supplied as pdf/jpgs with details of locations, materials, dimensions, commissioner and collaborative partners as relevant;
- a copy of current Public Liability Insurance coverage for $20,000,000 (or a willingness to obtain if successful).
Please note that Expressions of Interest should be no larger than 10MB total.
Expressions of Interest close 5.00pm Monday 31 March 2025.
