SUBMISSION DETAILS
- Submit a Creative Response in PDF format to:

by 5:00pm, Monday 10 February 2025 - The PDF file must be a single attachment not exceeding 10MB
- The email subject line should be formatted as follows: “[Insert Name] – QT Laneway EOI Creative Response”
THE CREATIVE RESPONSE MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Contact Information
• Full name + contact details, including email, postal address, phone + ABN - Supporting Documents
• Artist/Creative Team biography + CV (maximum two pages)
• Up to 10 images of previous work - Creative Proposal
• Clearly identify the opportunity (1, 2 or 3) the artist/creative team wishes to respond to.
• Provide a detailed explanation of how the artist/creative team plans to approach the commission (maximum 300 words per opportunity).
• Include renders, sketches or other imagery, showing concept + artwork placement. - Budget Breakdown
• Provide a budget breakdown for each opportunity’s budget, as specified below.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Artists/creative teams will be selected to progress to the next stage based on the below criteria:
- Relevance to the brief
- Innovation, uniqueness + artistry
- Quality + durability
- Feasibility of the proposed materials + techniques
- Public safety
BUDGETS
1. OPPORTUNITY 1: BLING/REFLECT
$15,000 – $35,000 + GST
2. OPPORTUNITY 2: INFLATED ILLUSION
$15,000 – $35,000 + GST
3. OPPORTUNITY 3: OP ART or CONTEMPORARY SPRAY TEXTURES
$20,000 – $40,000 + GST
BUDGETS MUST INCLUDE:
- Artist Fee
- Materials
- Design + Fabrication
- Engineering
- Transport
- Fixings + Installation
BUDGETS EXCLUDE:
- Prices are ex GST
- Does not include DA application fees or associated costs, if required
NEXT STEPS FOR SHORTLISTED APPLICANTS
- A number of artists/creative teams may be shortlisted through this process.
- Shortlisted applicants will participate in a subsequent round of competitive procurement.
- Each shortlisted artist/creative team may be paid a fee to further develop their concept, based on the scale of the work.
