Entries are now open for Georges River Council’s biennial Georges River Art Prize, with over $20,000 in prize money.
Hosted by Hurstville Museum & Gallery and the Clive James Library and Service Centre, Kogarah, the art prize showcases national artworks of various media, exploring subject matter that reflects contemporary art practice in Australia. There are categories for painting, sculpture, children and youth, and local artists. Entries for the 2025 Georges River Art Prize open on Monday 3 February 2025 and close on Friday 4 April 2025 at midnight.
