Keysborough South Community Hub Welcome Wall

The City of Greater Dandenong invites Expressions of Interest from artists, collectives, or multidisciplinary creative teams to design and deliver a permanent public artwork for the Welcome Wall inside the new Keysborough South Community Hub.

We’re seeking an imaginative, high-quality work that reflects the rich history, culture, and diversity of Keysborough South and Greater Dandenong. The artwork should engage visitors, create a sense of welcome, and celebrate the unique identity of the area.

The final installation will be located in the Hub’s foyer, a highly visible space connecting community members to a range of services, programs and gathering places. The Hub itself, due for completion in early 2025, sits on Bunurong Country and was developed through years of community consultation.

We welcome proposals from creatives across all artforms, with a demonstrated capacity for collaboration, fabrication, and project delivery. Cross-industry partnerships between visual artists, designers and fabricators are encouraged. The successful applicant will manage the design, fabrication and installation process, with scope to engage specialist skills as needed.

The artwork is expected to be installed by 4 July 2025.

Expression of Interest close Sunday 30 March at 11.59pm.
