Outdoor Gallery

Brisbane City Council’s Outdoor Gallery transforms Brisbane’s laneways, city streets and car parks into imaginative, curious and engaging spaces. Comprising of light boxes, banners, vitrines, and evening projections, the Outdoor Gallery displays art outside in city streets, rather than inside on gallery walls. 2023 marked 10 years of the Outdoor Gallery program.

Council’s award winning Outdoor Gallery program has been fostering the local creative sector through major, temporary, city-wide exhibitions. Over the years, this program has showcased hundreds of artists and artworks to residents and visitors of Brisbane.

The Outdoor Gallery celebrates Brisbane’s diversity, creativity, and local stories.

Opportunity 2 – November 2025 to April 2026 (All Abilities-led exhibition)
