See Subiaco are seeking a suitably qualified contractor to deliver an Ephemeral Art Installation or an immersive interactive art experience for Subi Blooms 2025 .
Commission value is $100,000. This is inclusive of all costs.
We welcome interest from artists or artist teams based in WA or nationally. The Ephemeral Art Installation will be placed in the City of Subiaco town centre in a prominent location, to be determined with the successful applicant following a site visit.

The artwork will be featured at Subi Blooms, an annual event delivered by the City of Subiaco. Subi Blooms features a collection of large-scale floral arrangements by some of Perth’s best florists placed throughout the Subiaco Town Centre in celebration of Mother’s Day weekend attracting over 30,000 visitors to the City of Subiaco.

We are open to a range of artistic approaches which would complement Subi Blooms. The artwork should not have been previously been presented in Western Australia.
The Ephemeral Art Installation will be exhibited for minimum of four weeks and must overlap the core Subi Blooms 2025 festival from Friday 9 – 11 May 2025.
Possible dates are:
- Start: Frday 18 April 2025
- End: Sunday 18 May 2025
These are indicative dates only, to be mutually agreed once contracted.
