The City of Stonnington seeks expressions of interest from experienced professional and emerging temporary installation artists and companies.
We are seeking submissions for large-scale, site-specific, and/or immersive temporary illuminated installations that will appeal to a wide demographic and can be displayed outdoors in winter as part of the Glow Winter Arts Festival.
The tender application process is a two-part process. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete and submit for the tender.
Working with the Council’s Festivals and Events Team, successful applicants will be contracted for the work’s design, development, installation, presentation, and de-installation.

§ Present a combination of known and emerging artists;
§ Provide residents and visitors with an opportunity to gather and enjoy the Council’s parks and gardens and;
§ Produce a high quality experiences that reflect Council’s commitment to arts and culture at a local and regional level.

A deconstructed fairground of surreal worlds, as an invitation to play
We invite artists to explore concepts of contemporary retro, surreal dreams and fallen fragments that take you on a journey.
We are seeking static and/or moving installations and works that have an element of play or offer a surprising encounter.
