Artwork Opportunity
QV1 and Artify are calling for artists who live in, or have connections to, Western Australia to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the second iteration of See My World, a digital exhibition series first launched at QV1 in 2023-2024.
See My World 2025-2026 will launch at QV1 in Boorloo (Perth) in May 2025 and run through to May 2026. The unique public art opportunity will showcase existing artworks from 6 artists working in photography, film, animation, and other digital media over the coming 12 months.
In recognising QV1’s vision to support WA artists and artworks, Artify has developed this public art opportunity. The project seeks to showcase contemporary art that explores a range of themes and artistic practices, including digital photography, illustration, and other image media. We are seeking digital exhibition proposals of existing artwork from early-career, mid-career and experienced artists of all backgrounds with connections to Western Australia.
Artists’ works will be exhibited on five large-scale digital signage elements located adjacent to St Georges Terrace. The digital screens provide a unique and accessible platform to showcase artwork in public space.
Artworks may be still image-based or slow-moving film or animation-based. There is no capacity to include audio works. The large-scale format of the screens invites experimentation with artwork formats and scales.
