Brief
Rather than a traditional wayfinding sign, we are seeking signage that aims to creatively
capture the many iconic attractions and places to explore throughout the City of Port Phillip
and the reasons for visiting. These may include:
• Food and beverage precincts. Including Bay Street in Port Melbourne, South
Melbourne Market, Acland and Fitzroy Streets in St Kilda
• Retail precincts such as Bay Street, South Melbourne Market
• Family Friendly destinations such as Luna Park, St Kilda Beach
• Creative and Cultural destinations such as galleries, theatres and live music venues
In conjunction with this, the signage should also strive to stand as a prominent and iconic
visual gateway to Port Melbourne, Melbourne and Victoria.
