Sauerbier House invites applications from professional contemporary creatives to undertake a supported site responsive studio based residency at Port Noarlunga, on Kaurna Country  during 2025-2026.
The residency offers artists a comfortable studio to professionally develop their practice whilst sharing contemporary processes with the wider community. As a site-responsive residency, artists are asked to respond to the location or in a broader context, to the City of Onkaparinga.
Residencies conclude with artists co-exhibiting selected outcomes with other resident artists.  Artists will be curated into a studio and gallery at time of selection. Artists are requested to facilitate an opportunity for the wider community to engage with their practice during the residency or exhibition. Artists can apply to occupy a studio for six or twelve week residencies.
Support payments are available for creating and installing works and will be paid by schedule. This opportunity does not include accomodation. Facilitation fees are available to develop associated workshops. Due to its heritage design Sauerbier House may not be accessible to all artists. Please see our access guide to confirm suitability.
This opportunity is open to artists at any stage of their professional evolution working in any discipline who are over 18 years old. The application process is available online however please reach out should you seek options.
