A recent graduate from the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts, Kaine Sultan-Babij’s dances share ancient stories with a contemporary audience.
Kaine works as a professional dancer driven by the inspiration he finds in everyday objects ranging from language, architecture to animals and space.
Born and raised in Whyalla, South Australia, of Aboriginal, Afghan and Yugoslavian descent, Kaine’s rapid trajectory through the arts industry is a reflection on the respect and passion he dedicates to his dance. He has worked with a variety of industry artists including: Penny Mullen, Nik Hills, Rosetta Cook, Zaimon and Lizze Vilmanis and Gina Rings.
