A new exhibition celebrates the merger of the Burma’s Karen community and a small country town in Victoria.

 

Nhill may be more famous for the 1990s film Road to Nhill but in recent years it has been quietly welcoming refugees from the Karen community. In an exhibition that has just kicked off at the immigration museum, Seeking Refuge in Nhill captures the journey, settlement and achievement of this small town’s newest members.
