The new venue in Newstead, in inner city Brisbane, is expected to open in November. It will have a capacity of 800 people and will feature bands booked by former BIGSOUND Executive Programmer and founder of Footstomp Music, Graham Ashton.

Triffid, as the venue will be known, is being constructed in a disused WWII bunker in the former industrial suburb located 3 kilometres north of Brisbane’s CBD.
