Putting the art in SheppARTon

The 18th SheppARTon Festival celebrates the cultural diversity and creativity of the Goulburn Valley.

This year’s SheppARTon Festival has expanded from its usual 11 day program to fill the entire month of March with a range of cultural events, including music, theatre, art, food and wine, as well as a strong Indigenous program.

‘It’s probably the biggest artistic event in the Goulburn Valley; we’ve been established from the middle of the 90s and it keeps on growing,’ said Festival Director John Head.

Richard Watts OAM is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM. Richard is a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, a Melbourne Fringe Festival Living Legend, and was awarded the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Awards' Facilitator's Prize in 2020.
