Olympian cabaret artist scores crowd-funding gold

The Australian diver’s campaign to raise funds for his inaugural cabaret show made over $5000 in six hours.

Australian diver and Olympic gold medallist Matthew Mitcham is set to make his debut as a cabaret performer in 2014, with an original show based on his recent autobiography, Twists and Turns.

Funding for the show has been raised through the crowd-sourcing platform Pozible, with unprecedented success.
