24HR Art changes its name and emerges as Northern Centre of Contemporary Art with a new director at the helm.
In the southern states it can be difficult to find out what’s happening in the Territory. Information seems to trickle down, filled with static, as though via a string and a rusty tin can. But we persevere because Darwin has a contemporary art landscape unlike any other capital city in Australia.
