Museum Victoria CEO Dr Patrick Greene has announced will retire from the role in February 2017.

Greene, an archaeologist who moved to Melbourne from the UK in 2002 to take up his appointment at Museum Victoria,  has been responsible for several of Victoria’s major museums including Melbourne Museum, the Immigration Museum, Scienceworks, IMAX Melbourne Museum and the World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building.
