Indigenous Ceramic Art Award Announced

The 2014 Indigenous Ceramic Art Award (ICAA) has chosen the winners for this years prize, awarding first place to the Bankstown Koori Elders Group for their work After The Rain, Bungle Bungle, with the collective of artists awarded $20,000.

The award that celebrates the traditional use of the ceramic medium by Indigenous artists, awarded the $10,000 second prize to Pitjantjatjara artist Alison Milyika Carroll, for her work Ngayuku Walka and the $3,000 acquisitive Encouragement award for a Victorian artists was awarded to Yamatji artist Robyne Latham for PODS3 2014.
