Operation: Covent Garden will take place in April to raise funds for Jette Parker Young Artists Program recipient Samuel Sakker.

Melbourne-based tenor Sakker, along with fellow Australians, baritone Samuel Johnson and soprano Lauren Fagan, was recently awarded into the program that allows promising performers to train and study at the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, London.

But Sakker will not be able to take up the position unless Operation: Covent Garden raises the necessary funding for him to move and live in London, an amount that he is not able to pay on his own.
