Sir Kenneth Macmillan’s Romeo & Juliet came to Queensland via the Super Star Fund
Queensland’s 2015 snap election campaign was called in early January for January 31. The truncated campaign has concentrated on the issue of privatisation, leaving little room for detailed policies or commitments in areas like the arts.

At last week’s Australian Theatre Forum in Sydney, Arts Hub spoke to a number of prominent Queensland theatre figures who expressed astonishment that neither major party had bothered to release a formal arts policy.
