Last Saturday at Currumbin in Queensland was ‘just gorgeous’. The sun was shining the entire day, the sand was white, the sea was blue, and a whole lot of people were getting down to the beach to enjoy the sculpture.
‘The artwork’s spectacular this year. It just gets, I shouldn’t say it but it just gets better and better,’ says Founding Director of the Swell Sculpture Festival, Natasha Edwards. ‘Everyone here just embraces it and they look forward to it. It’s a good vibe. It’s a vibe that I like to be part of.’
