ArtsHub looks at the awards and fellowships that recognise established and emerging Australian playwrights.

The National Playwriting Festival later this month from 15 – 19 March at the Parramatta Riverside will showcase the best new Australian plays ‘vigorously’ selected by Playwriting Australia. There will be 20 performances in five days of new plays and plays by emerging talents, as well as industry events. For many it will provide the crucial break that gets their play off the page and on the professional stage.
