Pointers on making a creative recovery

As the arts grapples with recovery, industry leaders at REMIX Sydney 2022 shared their approaches to renewal.

March saw the return of REMIX Summit Sydney, so ArtsHub rounded up the highlights, focusing on conversations around cultural infrastructure and making a creative recovery.

The pandemic has forced a rethink of public spaces and this focus around cultural infrastructure and placemaking can be seen through REMIX Sydney. In his opening address on Day 1, the Minister for Communications, Urban Infrastructure, Cities and the Arts, the Hon Paul Fletcher MP challenged the role of the arts to generate place-based activities.
