Perth Theatre Company leads the way in international touring

Western Australia is fighting back against its lack of economy of scale by bringing on board the power of the global audience.

Shows in Sydney and Melbourne can generally expect to run for four or five weeks, earning back production costs and, sometimes, even creating a small profit. But with a population a third the size of the big cities Perth arts companies struggle to make ends meet.
