The Perth International Arts Festival kicks off this Friday for 24 days of playfulness around the city with a huge free pyrotechnic and visual punch in Pan Optikum’s Transition in the Supreme Court Gardens.
‘The festival tries to offer a huge diversity of experience ranging from the big free things to fine music to the writers festival as well as theatre, dance plus we have a film season running,’ says Artistic Director Shelagh Magadza. In fact the ambition is that festival-goers will be able to go to at least three things over the next three weeks.
