Forging a non-traditional pathway into the Australian publishing industry, Robert Watkins takes the helm as Publishing Director at the new independent publisher Ultimo Press.
Working in a myriad of roles, Watkins first started as a book retailer at QBD (when QBD was in its infancy), then he moved onto Hachette Australia with roles in sales, marketing, publicity, publishing, and in the most recent years as Head of Literary.
