There are a lot of unrealistic
expectations in the arts. One of the most widespread is the illusion
that once you’ve toiled in the darkness of your bedroom, studio, garage,
you’re a few short steps from recognition and fame. There’s a belief
that talent coupled with a little exposure assures recognition,
financial stability and career longevity.

You’ve got the talent, so where do you
get the exposure? Surely, after all the effort you’ve put into
