Even in an energetic and vibrant city like Sydney, a giant pink phallic object in the middle of the CBD is pretty unusual.
Although shocking, it’s difficult not to admire the installations social and political agenda. The 18 metre sheath was slipped over the Hyde Park Obelisk by ACON, a NSW organisation that specialises in HIV and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex health.
