A lot of actors have talent and their own natural instincts when starting out, but what they don’t necessarily have is the skill and confidence in their ability.
‘I think young actors, when they start to develop the skill, they trust themselves a little bit more and they’re not as nervous or intimidated by situations because they understand the level of work that has to be done. Once they are confident and comfortable with that work, they are not inhibited in a casting, audition or job,’ said NIDA Studio tutor Brett Rogers.
