For the first time the British Museum is bringing their collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural art​ifacts back home to Australia.
The collaborative exhibit to be displayed in London this week and at the National Museum of Australia (NMA) in November, answers decades of calls for the return of Indigenous artifacts from the British Museum, with materials from 1770 to present day, as part of NMA exhibit Encounters.
