Put simply, LinkedIn brings all your networking, from all over the world, into the comfort of your own home (or wherever you’re accessing it from). It allows you to connect colleagues, employers, contractors, or anyone else you’ve stumbled across in your working life. Once you’ve linked to these people, you then have access to all the people they are linked to, and so on.
