We’ve all felt the hopeless despair that accompanies that all-too-familiar feeling of having a lot to do but not feeling up to the task of actually doing it. The best way to get over the pesky procrastination stage is to organise yourself, firstly by making a list of all the things you need to do. Who knows, this might calm you when you realise there’s not as much to do as you previously thought.
Set yourself time limits to work through the set tasks (do that harder ones first!), and reward yourself after you’ve completed them. Perhaps you can plan to go out to dinner with some friends at the end of the day or watch an episode of your favourite TV show. The greatest motivator of all, however, should be that once you’ve done the work – you’ll be free! Keep this in mind at all times.
