Five tips to avoid writer’s procrastination

 1. Delete your first sentence. It doesn’t matter if it’s a blog post, short story or novel. Getting started is impossibly hard. Your opener needs to grab your reader, and it’s the line we spend the most time cringing over. Try a new approach – just get something onto paper and later delete your first sentence. You’ll quickly overcome writers block, and throwing your reader into action without an introduction is a brilliant way to catch their attention.
