South Australia acts on sexual harassment

The state’s funding body takes a proactive stance on bullying and harassment as sector members meet to discuss workplace safety and respect.

All future funding distributed by Arts South Australia will be conditional on recipients having formal policies that address bullying and sexual harassment.

The State government body announced its new policy on Thursday, the same day a sector-wide meeting of women, trans and non‐binary artists and arts workers met in Port Adelaide to discuss the need for having strong structures in place to protect all people from bullying and harassment.
