The Role
Bendigo Venues & Events (BV&E) curates and manages Bendigo’s premier arts and events venues—Ulumbarra Theatre, The Capital, Engine Room, Dudley House, Bendigo Town Hall and Djaa Djuwima gallery. We also curate a range of cultural development initiatives.
In this dynamic role, you will have three direct reports who are responsible for the administration of all performances, functions, and events across BV&E venues.
In this highly administrative role, you will lead and support the team who are responsible for arranging events such as performances, conferences, school events, community events and much more.
You will oversee the booking process, ensuring all necessary information is accurately documented and communicated, enabling the other BV&E teams to deliver the events
About You
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Be highly organised and have experience in administration, preferably in the performing arts industry.
- Enjoy working in a busy team environment.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Sound IT literacy.
- Be an effective leader.
- A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
