We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer who is highly capable, motivated and driven by conceptual thinking, design and detail. This role can be located in either Terrey Hills or Woollahra.

About the role

The role involves working on exciting residential projects from initial concept sketch through construction to completion. You will work closely with the Design Team and Construction Managers in a friendly and collaborative environment.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you are responsible for:

• Liaising with clients, providing guidance throughout the design and planning process, and understanding client feedback to provide solutions
• Overseeing all aspects of projects including concept design presentations, detailed documentation, scheduling and specification
• Delivering projects on time and on budget
• Mentoring team member

About you

• 8 years + of industry experience, mostly in high-end residential work
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD desirable
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering software desirable
• Strong understanding of spatial design and detailing interiors for construction
• Sound knowledge of furniture design and specification
• International experience an advantage
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification or degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
