Are you a seasoned graphic designer looking to make your mark in a dynamic, full-service marketing team within a growing business group? We’re on the lookout for a passionate individual to assist our Creative Director in maintaining brand consistency and vitality across platforms. Role Overview:

As our Senior Graphic Designer, you will seamlessly blend the digital and physical realms, crafting new brand identities while refining existing ones. Your role involves rolling out these identities across mixed platforms. Responsibilities include logo and brand development, comprehensive brand rollouts, creative input on marketing strategies, digital and web design, social media and event collateral, and product launches. From initial market research to final print ready artwork, you’ll oversee the creative spectrum, collaborating closely with team members, clients, and suppliers. Over time, you’ll manage assigned brands, ensuring their sustained competitiveness in their markets.

What we’re looking for… 

  • 6-8 years of design experience (additional experience is advantageous)
  • Relevant degree or diploma
  • The ability to prioritise work and manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and navigate budget constraints effectively
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Efficient self-management and time management skills
  • Collaboration with Creative Director, embracing feedback across all project phases
  • Strategic thinking and innovative contribution to marketing campaigns
  • Leadership in branding initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring consistency and creativity across all touchpoints
  • Awareness of industry trends and best practices to continually elevate brand’s visual identity
  • Generating innovative brand messaging and visuals
  • Strategic thinking for long-term brand strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Monitoring brand performance and adjusting strategies for optimal outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Supporting the Creative Director and incorporating feedback
  • Guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence

A bonus if you… 

  • Experience in web design
  • Experience in the creating and managing the backend of WordPress, Squarespace or other
  • Interest in learning and taking on broader marketing tasks
  • Animation and video editing for social content

Location: Newcastle (In office Boolaroo)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
