Residential Designer & Draftsperson
With a strong pipeline of work, Devplex & Broadway Homes are seeking to add a Residential Designer / Draftsperson to our team. This role is full time and based out of our modern offices in Wangara.
We are a design and construct building company working across a variety of areas within the property development sector focusing mainly on, medium density housing, bespoke single & two storey custom builds, NDIS/SDA housing and Class 2 apartments.
As part of the Delstrat group we have a long standing history of innovation and delivery quality residential and commercial construction across Western Australia over the past 30 years.
The Role:
- Producing sales sketches, designs and working drawings
- Preparing plans and submissions for council applications
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, suppliers, and other team members to gather information and ensure accuracy
- Checking and reviewing external consultant documents
- Updating plans in accordance with variations
About You:
- Minimum five of years experience local experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, R Codes, Council Regulations and NCC
- Proficiency in Archicad
- Proven experience in producing working drawings and designs for single storey, 2 storey and grouped dwellings. Class 2 experience advantageous but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Adept in managing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively
