Remote Interior Designer (Revit)

We have an exciting opportunity with a practice that specialises in retail roll-outs, who is needing an autonomous working Revit proficient Designer to join their team. They are currently on the look-out for a person who can run their own projects, produce documentation in Revit and who can work remotely. You will come together with the director often; however a home setup will be required. It is essential to have worked across multiple retail projects as a prerequisite, with strong experience across all project phases. If you’re looking for a flexible setup, and have experience in the above areas, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This would be a 9-12 month contract, with likelihood to extend.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and roll-out up to 20 retail stores nationally
• Work on projects collaboratively with director as well as autonomously throughout all phases of the design process, without guidance.
• Prepare detailed Revit documentation and refined construction details
• Liaise with consultants using your exceptional communication skills
• Ability to detail architectural and interiors bespoke details within the retail space
• Ensure outstanding project outcomes through to delivery
• Take on responsibility of packages and initiative to complete tasks on time and budget

Skills & Experience

• Masters degree in Architecture or Technician degree
• 5-10+ years post-graduate experience, must have retail fit-out experience!
• Confident across all project phases (essential)
• Revit proficiency – a must!
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ability to work autonomously and put together documentation packages from scratch
