Publicist

Thames & Hudson publishes beautiful, useful books on all aspects of culture and creativity. Family owned, resolutely independent and internationally minded, we aim to create a ‘museum without walls’, fostering a deeper appreciation of artistic expression in all its forms.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, full-time publicist who will plan and execute dynamic and innovative PR campaigns for books and authors across the local and international Thames & Hudson publishing programs.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in the book publishing industry or arts PR and/or hold a relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualification in PR/communications
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, exercise good judgement and balance multiple priorities
• Demonstrate an aptitude for managing authors and other high-profile public figures while maintaining an astute outcomes-driven publicity focus
