In the role of Project Design Architect, we’ll count on you to:

  • Lead planning and design input during all project stages with expert knowledge applied
  • Conduct project design reviews and undertake end of project evaluation
  • Produce project plans, drawings and specifications using Revit
  • Gather the necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design layouts
  • Develop quality concept designs and design presentation material to exceed client expectations
  • Provide clients with suitable design recommendations based on factors such as budget, the building site, and recent trends
  • Adapt and remodel designs based on client feedback
  • Build and maintain client relationships, liaise with consultants and contractors to ensure design intent is understood
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in architecture
  • Experience in the areas of educational, civic, science and research facilities
  • A commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field
  • A minimum of 5 years experience
  • Registered Architect
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule)
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process
  • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
  • Should have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
