Crossroads Live is a global theatre producer. Through our production offices in North America, the UK and Australia and our network of producing partnerships in Asia and Europe, we work with the foremost creative talent and rightsholders, to present the best loved titles from Broadway and the West End to audiences around the world.

 

Crossroads Live Australia is seeking a Production Co-ordinator to work full time in its Melbourne office across multiple productions and national tours. Current Australian productions/co-productions include Wicked, Sister Act, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, Annie & And Then There Were None.

 

Key elements of the Production Co-ordinator role include:

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Producer and Associate Producer
  • Liaise with Creative Teams, Crossroads Management, Touring Company, Marketing and Ticketing Teams, Suppliers and other Stakeholders as required.
  • In consultation with the Executive and Associate Producer, work on contract negotiations, prepare and issue contracts, issue payroll related paperwork for touring company, transfer personnel, local crew and orchestra.
  • Forward planning for national tours including but not limited to arranging travel and accommodation for auditions, rehearsals and production transfers; audition and rehearsal logistics; and opening night arrangements.
  • Arrange auditions for productions including managing the Crossroads Live Audition Portal, arranging audition personnel, logistics for multi city and remote auditions, issuing audition times and call backs and other audition related tasks.
  • General tour arrangements and logistics as required.
  • Any other such tasks as directed by the Executive Producer and/or Associate Producer

 

Skills and attributes required:

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills;
  • Strong computer skills, including a good working knowledge of all Microsoft office programs specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Self motivated and positive can do attitude;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment;
  • Flexibility to take on other tasks as required; and
  • A desire to be a high contributing member of a committed and focused team.

 

Salary

 Negotiable; commensurate with experience.
