Print and Textile Designer-Women's Fashion

Global Fashion House is an established and fast-growing women’s fashion wholesale company based in Surry Hills. An exciting opportunity exists to join our team as an experienced Print and Graphic Designer.

The Print and Graphic Designer will be working closely with the Designers and Head of Product to support seasonal inspiration and the creative vision of all 4 brands at Global Fashion house.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Yardage print design and development.
  • Yardage print recolours.
  • Graphic T shirt artwork design and development/re colours.
  • Create garment sketches (CADs) and range presentations.
  • Swing Tag label artwork design and development.
  • This is a Full Time Role based in our Surry Hills Office.

 

The ideal candidate 

  • Previous experience as a Print/Graphic designer within womenswear-Designing and recolouring prints
  • Tertiary qualifications or a degree in fashion design/ textile design with a focus on prints and graphics.
  • Advanced skills with Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of garment patterns to assist with print placement needs
  • Display a strong attention to detail.
  • Up to date on design trends, industry developments and current textile processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fabric and apparel printing methods.
  • Show initiative and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • You have a positive can-do approach to daily tasks.
  • You are happy to take direction and interpret briefs.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and be self-managed.
  • A love of all things fashion and a great work ethic.
