Role Overview

As a Principal F5 Engineer/Architect with a strong background in Cisco network and firewall technologies, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our F5 Load Balancer infrastructure. Your expertise will drive excellence, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with business requirements. Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

• Lead the design and implementation of F5 solutions, with a focus on VELOS CX410.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the F5 Load Balancer infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other architects and engineers to create robust and efficient designs.

Customer Workshops And Requirements

• Engage closely with customers to understand their design and operational needs.
• Plan and execute workshops to gather detailed specifications and business requirements.
• Translate customer insights into actionable plans for F5 deployments.

Test Planning And Strategies

• Develop comprehensive test plans, covering scenarios, performance benchmarks, and success criteria.
• Validate the functionality and reliability of F5 solutions.

Alignment With Best Practices

• Ensure our F5 solutions adhere to industry best practices.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies related to load balancing.

Issue Resolution And Troubleshooting

• Swiftly troubleshoot complex F5-related issues.
• Provide timely resolutions to minimize service disruptions.
• Collaborate with support teams and vendors as needed.

Mentoring And Knowledge Sharing

• Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering growth within the team.
• Share your expertise and contribute to strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an F5 Engineer or Architect, with expertise in F5 Load Balancing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of VELOS CX410.
• Extensive experience with Cisco network devices and technologies.
• Ability to run customer design and requirement workshops.
• Proficiency in creating test plans and implementation strategies.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.

Certifications: F5 certifications (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator, F5 Certified Technology Specialist) are highly desirable.
