Office & Sales Manager

FunFit and Hoops Thighs & Buttocks are looking for an organised all-rounder who will drive the growth and operational success of both businesses.

About Us:

FunFit and Hoops Thighs & Buttocks are dynamic businesses with a shared mission: to improve the physical and mental health of individuals through fun, engaging fitness and mindfulness programs. FunFit focuses on providing fitness programs for schools, holiday programs, and events for young people, while Hoops Thighs & Buttocks offers hula hoop and dance workshops for adults, including corporate groups. Our shared goal is to introduce innovative movement activities that foster health, fun, and positive experiences for all participants.

 

Position Overview:

As the Office & Sales Manager, you will be an essential part of driving the growth and operational success of both businesses. This role requires a high level of expertise in managing sales and operations, and you’ll be expected to work autonomously while making strategic decisions that directly contribute to the success of FunFit and Hoops Thighs & Buttocks.

You will manage day-to-day operations, develop and execute sales strategies, and ensure exceptional customer service while leading a small, dynamic team. Your ability to independently oversee business functions, manage client relationships, and handle operational logistics will be critical in ensuring the ongoing success and growth of both businesses.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
    • Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase bookings and revenue across both businesses.
    • Identify target markets and develop tailored sales approaches to attract and retain clients.
    • Track sales performance, analyse customer needs, and adjust strategies to maximise growth.
  • Booking and Operations Management:
    • Oversee the booking process to ensure smooth scheduling, customer satisfaction, and effective communication.
    • Ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality programs by managing logistics, resources, and team coordination.
    • Utilise CRM software to track customer interactions, optimise bookings, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide top-tier customer service to clients, ensuring satisfaction and positive feedback.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, maintaining high levels of engagement.
  • Partnership and Business Development:
    • Cultivate relationships with potential partners, including schools, community organisations, and corporate groups, to expand business reach.
    • Negotiate and maintain partnerships to promote both brands and secure long-term business opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Lead and collaborate with a team of instructors, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Work closely with the Director on promotions, events, and new initiatives to maximise impact.
    • Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  • Market Research and Reporting:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
    • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.
    • Regularly report on sales performance, operational efficiency, and customer feedback to senior management.
  • Autonomous Decision-Making:
    • Make independent, strategic decisions that align with the company’s goals and growth trajectory.
    • Solve operational challenges proactively, using your initiative and expertise.

     

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
      • Proven experience in sales and operations management, preferably within the fitness, events, or education industries.
      • Strong experience in managing business operations independently.
    • Skills and Competencies:
      • Strong leadership and team management skills.
      • Ability to independently develop and execute sales strategies that drive business growth.
      • Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
      • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
      • High proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
