Role impact & contribution

As a Manager Graphic Designer and Brand, you’ll play a crucial role in determining and managing the integrity of our brand through creative design and direction across various digital and printed communication outputs for internal clients across the Treasury cluster. You will also manage relationships with internal stakeholders effectively to meet client needs.

What you can bring to the role

In this integral role there are a few things we would like you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Degree or higher qualifications in Graphic Design or similar
  • 7+ years’ experience in a graphic design role – combining both conceptual and execution focused design. Experience working with the NSW Government brand is not essential but highly desirable
  • Experience in a role where delivery of traditional and digital design was a key deliverable
  • Exceptional design skills that allow you to clearly convey technical and complex information and analysis in visual ways, appropriate to the audience and its purpose
  • Highly developed skills in Adobe suite – Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to apply WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards to your work and have a good understanding of how an inclusive approach impacts the user experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively as part of a team and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to show examples of previous design work.
