A Total Concept Landscape Architects is a medium sized, landscape architectural practice based in North Sydney (Crows Nest area). We have over 30 years experience in all aspects of landscape architecture with thousands of projects of all sizes in Australia.

We have a relaxed (yet vibrant) work environment with a fantastic team. Our practice is located in a terrace house in a pleasant suburban street close to a variety of parks and cafes.

Our practice works on a broad range of small to large commercial and  residential developments across Sydney including landscapes, cabanas and swimming pool design. We provide our clients with a complete range of services including basic landscape and planting plans, concept design, approvals, construction documentation and contract administration.

A Total Concept is currently seeking a skilled full-time Landscape Designer/Architect for an immediate start.  We are looking for a person to become an integral part of our team for a long-term secure career opportunity. This is a full-time position offering a generous negotiable salary.

To be successful for this role you will:

• Have 5 years post graduate experience working in Australia in the residential and commercial industry and be able to demonstrate your knowledge/expertise in design and documentation
• Hold at a minimum a Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture/Design
• Have the ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines on a wide range of small to medium sized projects that vary in type, scope and complexity
• Have strong design-led thinking and the ability to problem solve
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident liaising with clients, consultants and contractors
• Be competent and proficient in Vectorworks
• Experience in Indesign and Sketch-up would be an advantage
• Hold an interest in working on designs for high-quality residential properties, multi-housing and commercial developments
• Hold the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
• An extensive plant species knowledge would be looked upon favourably
• Some experience in DA and CDC approvals processes with knowledge of local planning codes and statutory requirements for projects
• Some experience in design and documentation for concept, approvals and construction purposes
• Be willing to attend site visits and project meetings with or without other team members (Drivers Licence a must)
